90 Years of Capturing Memories—and Giving Back
In 2026, Lifetouch proudly celebrates 90 years of serving schools, families, and communities. For nine decades, we’ve been trusted to capture milestones that matter—from the first day of school to senior year achievements, from team photos to family portraits. But our story has always been about more than photographs. It’s about people, connections, and showing up for the communities we serve.
To honor this milestone, Lifetouch is launching 90 Service Projects for 90 Years—a companywide commitment to give back to 90 schools or community groups through meaningful, hands-on philanthropic efforts. This initiative reflects both our history and our heart, reinforcing our belief that education and community are stronger when we invest in them together.
Giving Back Is Part of Our DNA
Lifetouch has been giving back for decades. Long before this anniversary, our people were already volunteering in schools, donating to local causes, supporting educators, and responding when communities needed help most. Whether through school supply drives, teacher appreciation efforts, sponsorships, or volunteer hours, service has always been part of how we do business.
The 90 Service Projects initiative builds on that legacy—amplifying what we’ve always believed: when schools and communities thrive, families thrive too. Each project is designed to meet real, local needs, whether that’s supporting educational programs, improving school spaces, partnering with nonprofit organizations, or creating moments of joy for students and families.
Local Photographers. Local Impact.
One of the things that makes Lifetouch unique is our strong local presence. Our photographers live and work in the communities they serve. They photograph in neighborhood schools, build relationships with educators, and interact with families year after year. They don’t just show up on picture day—they show up for their communities.
That local connection is what makes these 90 service projects so meaningful. Because our people know their communities, they understand where support is needed most. Every project reflects local priorities and creates impact where it matters—right at home.
Our Memory Mission in Action
\At the heart of Lifetouch is our Memory Mission—a long‑standing commitment to serving children, families, and communities through both service and photography. Since 2000, employee volunteers have dedicated tens of thousands of hours to projects that support education, safety, and hope, from building and rebuilding schools to responding in times of need. Along the way, photography has played a powerful role—often providing children and families with their very first professional portraits, tangible reminders that they are seen, valued, and remembered. More than a program, the Memory Mission reflects who we are at our core: a company that believes memories have the power to inspire, connect, and create lasting impact far beyond the moment they are captured.
One Anniversary, 90 Meaningful Impacts
Each of the 90 service projects represents more than a number. It represents a school supported, a group uplifted, and a community strengthened. Together, they tell the story of who Lifetouch has been for 90 years—and who we continue to be:
- A trusted partner to schools
- A familiar, local presence for families
- A company committed to doing good where we live and work
Celebrating the Past. Investing in the Future.
Ninety years of Lifetouch is a milestone worth celebrating—but it’s also a reminder of our responsibility. The 90 Service Projects for 90 Years initiative honors our past while investing in the future of education and community connection.
As we look ahead, our commitment remains the same: to show up for schools and families, to serve our communities, and to help preserve the moments that matter most.
Here’s to 90 years of memories, service, and community—and many more to come.
